XAUT’ s Delegation was invited to visit AEMG partner universities in Australia

With the invitation of the Australia Education Management Group and our partner universities, the delegation of Xi’an University of Technology under the leadership of Prof. Dean LIU, Secretary of Party Committee visited our partner universities in Australia from the 22nd to 26th of October, 2018.

On the 22nd October, XAUT delegation visited AEMG Melbourne Office. They were warmly welcomed by President Roger LI and Jenny WANG, Director general. The two parties established the clear strategic cooperative relations and hoped to cooperate in more areas in the future. After visiting the Chinese Cultural Center, Prof. LIU highly appreciated the Group’s efforts in the cooperation and exchanges of culture, education and scientific research between China and Australia over the past years.

From the 23rd to 24th, October, Roger accompanied the delegation to visit Cairns Campus of James Cook University. They were welcomed by Prof. Iain Gordon, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Ms. Melissa Banks, Pro Vice-Chancellor. During the meeting, the three parties had a detailed consultation on the cooperation and reached a broad consensus. The delegation visited the Cairns Campus and some key laboratories.

On the 25th October, Roger accompanied the delegation to visit Townsville Campus of James Cook University. They were welcomed by Ms. Melissa Banks, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Prof. Marcus Lane, Director of Faculty of Science and Engineering and relative staff. After the meeting, the delegation visited the Science Laboratories.

The visit further enhanced the communication between AEMG and our partner universities, and consolidated mutual understanding, which laid the strong foundation for the following operation of joint education programs.
