UTS’s Delegation was Invited to Visit AEMG Partner Universities in China

With the invitation of the Australia Education Management Group, the delegation of University of Technology Sydney under the leadership of Mr. Iain Watt, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, visited our partner universities in China from the 31st October to 3rd November, 2018.

On 31st October, Roger LI accompanied the delegation to visit China University of Mining & Technology, Beijing. They were welcomed by Prof. Shirong GE, President and relative staff. During the meeting, the three parties had a detailed consultation on the cooperation and reached a broad consensus. Before the meeting, the delegation visited the state key laboratories in Mining and Mining Safety.

On the 1st November, Elroy, Director of Global Engagement and Partnership Department of AEMG accompanied the delegation to visit Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. They were welcomed by Prof. Daning SHI, Vice President and relative staff. In the following meeting, the delegation held detailed discussions about the further collaboration and got a periodical achievement.

On the 2nd November, the delegation visited Shandong University, Qingdao accompanied by Roger LI. They were welcomed by Prof. Shenghao HAN, Vice President of Shandong University & President of Shandong University, Qingdao and relative staff as well. During the meeting, the three parties had a detailed consultation on the cooperation and reached a broad consensus. Before the meeting, the delegation was invited to visit the teaching facilities and the library. Mr. Iain Watt was happy to be invited to the new campus of Shandong University and willing to collaborate with the university in wide range areas.

The visit further enhanced the communication between AEMG and our partner universities and ensured a smooth and efficient operation of the cooperative programs.
