At the invitation of the Australian Education Management Group, the delegation of University of Western Australia including Mr. Iain Hepburn Watt, Pro Vice-Chancellor International, Prof. Matthew Tonts， Pro Vice-Chancellor and executive Dean, visited AEMG partner universities in China from 11th to 12th April.
On 11th April, General Director of AEMG, Ms. Jenny WANG accompanied the delegation to Shandong University (Weihai). Prof. XIA Lidong, Vice President of SDUW, and the relevant staff warmly welcomed the delegation. During the meeting, the two parties had a detailed consultation on the cooperation and solid the foundation of the further research collaboration. After the meeting, Prof. Tonts delivered a keynote lecture in the area of Economics followed by the session of interaction.
In the morning of 12th, accompanied by Roger, the delegation visited Chang’an University and was warmly welcomed by President of Chang’an University, Prof. CHEN Feng. During the meeting, the two parties had a detailed discussion about the collaboration both in education and research programs.
Whereafter, Roger accompanied the delegation to Xi′an Conservatory of Music. The relevant personnel represented by Prof. ZHANG Lijie, secretary of the Party committee of XACM, warmly welcomed the delegation. During the meeting, the two parties had a detailed consultation on the cooperation and reached a broad consensus. And then the delegation visited the campus of XACM.
The mutual understanding and trust has been deepened between AEMG and the partner universities along with the visits, and the areas of cooperation have been broadened as well.
