At the invitation of the Australian Education Management Group, the delegation of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences visited Australia from 26th to 29th, June, under the leadership of Prof. WU Yueliang, Vice President of UCAS. The delegation was accompanied by AEMG to visit partner universities in Australia.
On 26th June, President of AEMG, Mr. Roger LI accompanied the delegation to visit The Australian National University. They were warmly welcomed by Provost, Prof. Mike Calford and Dean of College of Engineering & Computer Science, Prof. Elanor Huntington and representatives of relevant departments. During the following meeting, the three parties had a detailed consultation on the existing collaborative programs and reached a broad consensus.
From 27th June to 28th June, Mr. Roger LI accompanied the delegation to visit the University of Western Australia. They were warmly welcomed by Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dawn Freshwater, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), Prof. Robyn Owens and representatives of relevant departments. During the following meeting, the three parties had a detailed consultation on the potential collaborative programs and reached a broad consensus.
On 29th June, the delegation made an official visit to AEMG headquarter. The delegation was warmly welcomed by President of AEMG, Mr. Roger LI. They had a meeting at the Melbourne Office. Prof. WU Yueliang showed his appreciation to AEMG for our great efforts to their collaboration with oversea universities and hoped to continue working with us in more fields. Then, the delegation visited Chinese Traditional Culture Center. Prof. WU Yueliang gave a high degree of appreciation to AEMG and was full of confidence for future cooperation.
The mutual understanding and trust has been deepened between AEMG and the partner universities along with the visits, and the areas of cooperation have been broadened as well.
