On 21 July, 2019, the Management Training and Teaching Training of the Australian Educational Management Group officially opened in Melbourne, Australia. This training will last for 3 weeks, in the mode of groups, and aims at creating future leaders and senior managers with an international perspective and cultivating backbone teachers with AEMG characteristics.
In the afternoon of the 21st, Ms. Jenny Wang, the General Director of AEMG, delivered an opening speech for the training. She warmly welcomed the arrival of 44 participants from various branches throughout the country, and encouraged everyone to participate in classroom during the training period, actively display the style of AEMG, and conscientiously experience the unique culture of Australia. Every participant showed great expectations for the upcoming three-week training. Later, they had dinner with the colleagues in Melbourne Office and enjoyed this rare gathering time.
The training officially started on 22 July. On the first day of training, backbone teachers and future leaders were studying at Swinburne University of Technology. There had discussions on advanced teaching theories such as “Learning Management System”, “flipped classroom” and “blended learning”. Some interesting online interactive games and tools were practically operated, which provided a new perspective of teaching method and thoughts for their future teaching practice.
