Summer Training of Australia Education Management Group Employees in Weihai Ended Successfully

On July 27, 2019, Summer Training of Australia Education Management Group employees in Weihai was successfully completed at Shandong University, Weihai. The training lasted for one week and included three types: functional training, new employee training and leadership training. More than 70 employees from the Beijing headquarters and various branches of the country participated in the training.

The training officially began on July 22nd and was launched simultaneously with the overseas training of employees held in Australia. At 9:00 am, two training sessions in Weihai and Australia jointly held a live connection. In the connection, Mr Lv Yuqi, AEMG Vice President (Engagement), and Professor Bruce Calway, Consultant Dean of AEMG Academy, delivered speeches to introduce the group’s development history, organizational structure and corporate culture and looked forward to the group’s development prospects. Subsequently, Ms Chen Jing, Director of Student Services Department, also introduced the responsibilities of her department and expressed her expectations for strengthening cooperation and exchanges between different departments.

After the live connection, the training of the Weihai branch venue continued to be carried out in an orderly manner. From July 22nd to 24th, it was a group training time. Speakers from different departments gave a comprehensive introduction from the aspects of company system, corporate culture, business etiquette, attendance system, news and publicity management, cloud platform use, and financial system. Through various forms such as theoretical study, case analysis, group discussion, and scenario simulation, the training allows employees to have a deeper understanding of the group’s business and corporate culture. On the afternoon of the 24th, all the staff completed the scene simulation training in groups, which effectively summarized the training gains of the previous three days in the group discussion and presentation.

From July 25th to 26th, the participating employees were divided into three groups according to their job duties, and they received functional training, new employee training and leadership training separately. Group training is more targeted and better meets the work and study needs of employees, thus better achieving the training objectives.

After the training, the staff went to Weihai tourist attractions such as Liugong Island and Huanhai Road on July 27 to increase their knowledge, enhance understanding and strengthen their bonds during the visit.
