Southwest University Visited Universities in Oceania

With the invitation from AEMG and partner universities in Australia and New Zealand, the delegation of Southwest University led by President Prof. ZHANG Weiguo visited Australia and New Zealand during 12th to 19th November.

On 12th November,the delegation made an official visit to Australia Education Management Group headquarter. The delegation was warmly welcomed by CEO of AEMG Mr. Roger LI and Director General Ms. Jenny Wang. On morning of 13th November, the 2nd JMC of WESTA joint education committee was held in Melbourne. During the meeting, the three parties had a detailed consultation on the cooperation and reached a broad consensus. Afternoon, Academic Committee of WESTA was held, and they had a detailed consultation on the cooperation and reached a broad consensus.

On 15th November, CEO of AEMG Mr. Roger LI and General Director of AEMG Ms. Jenny WANG accompanied the delegation to visit Cairns Campus of James Cook University. Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Robyn McGuiggan warmly welcomed the delegation. During the meeting, the two parties had a detailed consultation on the cooperation and reached a broad consensus.

On the morning of 17th November, Mr. Roger LI and Ms. Jenny WANG accompanied the delegation to visit Auckland University. They were warmly welcomed by Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Stuart McCutcheon and had a meeting with the participants from the university. During the meeting, the two parties had a detailed consultation on the cooperation and reached a broad consensus.

The mutual understanding and trust has been deepened between AEMG and the partner universities along with the visits, and the areas of cooperation have been broadened as well.
