SDUW-Swinburne ‘Advanced Manufacture Joint Research Centre’ Signing Ceremony was Successfully Held

23 September 2016, accompanied by the CEO of Australia Education Management Group (AEMG) Roger Li, Prof. Aleks Subic, Vice-Chancellor of Swinburne University of Technology, and Mr. Pankaj Arora, vice director of International Research Cooperation Department visited Lingang District and Shandong University (Weihai).

After one-year preparation, AEMG, SUT, SDUW and the government of Lingang District signed a cooperation agreement on ‘Advanced Manufacture Joint Research Centre’. The ‘Advanced Manufacture Joint Research Centre’ is one of the first research institutes in the industrial park of carbon fiber, as well as the first international cooperation program in Lingang District, which plays an exemplary and leading role. During the visiting, Prof. Aleks Subic and Mr. Pankaj Arora visited the industrial park of carbon fiber, enterprises in Lingang District and relevant labs in SDUW.

This cooperation is a landmark and marks the launch of constructing joint research platforms in AEMG.
