SDUST’s Delegation was Invited to Visit AEMG Partner Universities in Australia

With the invitation of the Australia Education Management Group and our partner universities, the delegation of Shandong University of Science and Technology under the leadership of Prof. Yongjun GAO, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of their Ji’nan Campus, visited our partner universities in Australia from the 22nd to 26th of October, 2018.

On the 22nd October, SDUST Delegation visited AEMG Melbourne Office. They were warmly welcomed by AEMG President, Mr. Roger LI and Mrs. Jenny WANG, Director General. The two parties exchanged their ideas about the current collaboration. Prof. GAO mentioned that they were very satisfied to the achievements for the CAP programs and hoped to cooperate in depth in the future. He highly appreciated about the Group’s efforts to the collaboration.

From 23rd to 24th October, Mrs. Jenny WANG accompanied the delegation to visit the University of Tasmania. They were welcomed by Mr. Robert Atkinson, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) as well as relative staff and they held the Joint Management Committee meeting. During the meeting, the three parties had a detailed consultation on the cooperation and reached a broad consensus. After the meeting, SDUST Delegation met with the program students.

On the 25th October, Mr. Elroy DUAN, Director of Global Engagement and Partnership Department accompanied the delegation to visit University of Technology Sydney. They were welcomed by Prof. Wanlei ZHOU, Dean of Software School and relative staff. After the meeting, the delegation visited the Key Laboratories.

The visit further enhanced the communication between AEMG and our partner universities, and ensured a smooth and efficient operation of joint education programs.
