On the 14th June, with the invitation of Shandong University,Weihai and Australia Education Management Group, Prof. Reza Jazar, Associate Dean of Mechanical & Automotive Engineering School, RMIT visited SDUW, where he was greeted by Prof. Ruolun LIU, Vice Dean of School of Mechanical, Electrical & Information Engineering, and key representatives from the International Office and Department of Mechanical Engineering. Ellen HAO, Pro-Director from Global Engagement and Partnership Department, AEMG accompanied the visit.
The two sides summarized the current operation of the MoE project of mechanical design and manufacturing and automation major, and discussed in details about the adjustment of teaching plan, course mapping, teaching arrangements in China and the PD program in Australia. Subsequently, T.V. teachers from RMIT gave presentations about their scientific research and had an academic talk with Chinese professional teachers.
Prof. Reza Jazar’s visit has yielded positive results, and the two universities have reached agreement on many issues, laying a solid foundation for the follow-up cooperation.
