Ocean University of China’s Delegation Visits AEMG Cooperative Universities

At the invitation of the Australia Education Management Group, the delegation of Ocean University of China visited Australia from 20th to 23rd, May, under the leadership of Prof. YU Zhigang, President of OUC. The delegation was accompanied by AEMG to visit cooperative universities in Australia.

On the 20th of May, the delegation made an official visit to Australia Education Management Group headquarter. The delegation was warmly welcomed by President of AEMG, Mr. Roger LI and Director General of AEMG, Ms. Jenny WANG, and had a meeting. The President of OUC, Prof. YU Zhigang showed his appreciation to AEMG for our great efforts to their collaboration with overseas universities and hoped to continue working with us in more fields. Then, the delegation visited Chinese Traditional Culture Center. Prof. YU gave a high degree of appreciation to AEMG and was full of confidence for future cooperation.

On the 21st of May, Roger and Jenny accompanied the delegation to visit the University of Adelaide. They were warmly welcomed by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Peter Rathjen, and Pro Vice-Chancellor (International), Prof. Nancy Cromar and Deans of relevant Schools. During the following meeting, the three parties had a discussion in details on the potential collaborations. After meeting, the delegation visited some labs of engineering disciplines.

On the 22nd of May, Mr. Roger LI and Ms. Jenny WANG accompanied the delegation to visit University of Tasmania. They were warmly welcomed by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Rufus Black, Deputy Vice Chancellor of University (Scientific Research), Professor Brigid Heywood, Pro-Vice Chancellor (International), Mr. Rob Atkinson, and Directors of relevant schools. During the following meeting, the three parties had a discussion in details on extending collaborations with aquaculture, Marine science, climate and Antarctic survey.

The mutual understanding and trust has been deepened between AEMG and the partner universities along with the visits, and the areas of cooperation have been broadened as well.
