Northeast Forestry University Visited Australian and New Zealand Universities

From February 21st to 28th, 2016, with the invitation from Australia Education Management Group and our partner universities, delegation of Northeast Forestry University led by vice President LI Bin visited Australian and New Zealand partner universities.

On 21st and 22nd, accompanied by Director General of AEMG Ms. Jenny Wang, the delegation visited the University of Western Australia. During their visiting, the two parties had a detailed discussion on their program of articulation and cooperation in various fields. The two parties have also signed the agreement of the articulation program.

On 23rd, the delegation visited the AEMG Headquarter in Melbourne. CEO Mr. Roger Li and Director General Ms. Jenny Wang extended their warmest welcome to the delegation. Prof. LI Bin spoke highly of the efforts made by AEMG towards the promotion of education and culture between the two countries. He also expressed his expectations towards a deeper cooperation with AEMG in the future.

On 24th and 25th, accompanied by Director General of AEMG Ms. Jenny Wang, the delegation visited the University of Tasmania. During their meeting, the two parties reached a consensus on the cooperative education and research programs in the field of forestry science, forestry engineering, etc. The delegation also visited UTAS’s forest farm and processing plant. Both parties exchanged their opinions.

On 26th and 27th, accompanied by CEO of AEMG Mr. Roger Li, the delegation visited the University of Auckland. During their meeting, the two parties reached a consensus on the cooperation in the field of life science, biotech, etc. The two parties signed an official working memorandum.
This visit has pointed out an internationalized direction and approach of development for Northeast Forestry University, and has also built a solid foundation for future cooperation.
