Nanchang Hangkong University Visited Australian Universities

With the invitation from Australian partnership universities, delegation of Nanchang Hangkong University (NCHU) led by Vice President Prof. ZHOU Shijian visited Australia from 7th September 2016 to 10th September 2016.

On the afternoon of 7th September, the delegation arrived at the Golden Coast and visited Griffith University. In the following morning, accompanied by AEMG Senior Director of International Enrollment and Student Services Department, Mr. Thomas Toh. Pro Vice-Chancellor of Griffith University Ms. Sarah Todd welcomed the delegation and hosted the meeting. Both parties had a further discussion on the current joint programs and future development, and they reached consensus concerning various issues.

On 8th September, the delegation visited AEMG headquarter in Melbourne. AEMG CEO, Mr. Roger Li warmly welcomed the delegation, and showed them the AEMG Chinese Culture Overseas Promotion Centre. Both parties held a meeting afterwards, during which Vice President of NCHU Mr. ZHOU spoke highly of the bridging role AEMG has been playing in the international education communication and Chinese culture overseas promotion, and he thanked AEMG for its efforts devoted towards the internationalization of NCHU.

On 9th September, the delegation, accompanied by Roger and Tomas, visited the University of Tasmania. Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) of UTAS, Prof. Gary O’Donovan and relevant staff met with the delegation and hosted a meeting. Both parties exchanged their opinions in various areas of cooperation and reached initial consensus.

The visit further strengthened the communication between AEMG and its partner universities worldwide, and enhanced the established programs. Also, new areas of cooperation were explored.
