MQ’s delegation was invited to visit AEMG cooperative universities in China

At the invitation of the Australian Education Management Group and Yunnan University, the delegation of MQ visited YNU from the 19th to 20th , November under the leadership of Ms. Nicole Brigg, Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) and Prof. Stephen Brammer, Executive Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics.

CEO Mr. Roger LI accompanied the delegation to visit YNU in the morning of 20th. They were host and met by VP of the university, Prof. Zhang Li. During the meeting, the three parties had a detailed consultation on the cooperation and reached a broad consensus. Prof. Lin Wenxun, president of Yunnan University and the authorized representative of Macquarie University signed a supplementary cooperation agreement.

In the Afternoon, Prof. Philomena Leung gave a lecture to students of School of Economics and Management. The lecture caused a warm response from the students. The lecture topic is “The further of Accounting” and extends to career development programs for graduates. The Director of Global Engagement and Partnership Department (China) of AEMG, Mr. Elroy DUAN and Mr. Samuel Wang have accompanied with the delegation.

The visit further enhanced the communication between AEMG and its partner universities, and ensured a smooth and efficient operation of joint education programs.
