In the morning of September 11, 2018, Sonia Chan, Associate Director, Partnerships & Articulations, Swinburne University of Technology, visited Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics, and attended the Joint Opening Ceremony for the 2018 CAP students

In the morning of September 11, Deputy Director of International Division QU Wei first greeted the guests, then, President DU Jinzhu held a brief meeting with Sonia.

At 10 am, President DU invited Sonia to watch the military training performance performed by all freshmen of Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics. The students’ neat and uniform movements and their energy show the healthy and upward outlook of the young students in the new era, which left a deep impression on foreign guests.

In the afternoon, Dean of the School of Accouting, Professor XIAO Fang from Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics, and Deputy Director of International Division QU Wei attended the Joint Opening Ceremony.

First, Director QU introduced the general situation of the CAP program and the present guests. Then, Professor XIAO Fang introduced the operation of the project, and encouraged all students to go abroad to see more, hoping that the students who have the conditions should strive to complete their studies overseas.  In the end, Sonia introduced the general situation of Australia, Melbourne, and Hawthorne Campus, as well as the major of the school, and helped students to have a deeper understanding of the relevant situation through the interactive question and answer session.

Although they were still tired after the military training, the students were still energetic and enthusiastic. They were full of expectations for studying abroad and had frequent interactions with Sonia. Finally, wearing T-shirts prepared by AEMG, the students took a group photo with lovey gifts given by Sonia.
