At the invitation of the Australian Education Management Group, the delegation of Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics visited Australia from 9th to 12th, June, under the leadership of Prof. DU Jinzhu, President of IMUFE. The delegation was accompanied by AEMG to visit cooperative universities in Australia.
From the 10th to 11th June, Mr. Roger LI, President of AEMG accompanied the delegation to visit both Cairns and Townsville Campus of James Cook University. They were warmly welcomed by Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Iain Gordon and Deans of relevant colleges. During the following meeting, the three parties had a discussion in details on the potential collaborations.
On the 12th June, Roger accompanied the delegation to visit Swinburne University of Technology. They were warmly welcomed by Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Duncan Bentley, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Faculty of Business and Law), Prof. Michael Gilding and representatives of relevant schools. During the following meeting, the three parties had a detailed consultation on the joint educational program and potential research collaboration and then reached a broad consensus. After meeting, the delegation visited Hawthorn Campus of the University.
On the afternoon of 12th June, the delegation made an official visit to AEMG headquarter. The delegation was warmly welcomed by President of AEMG, Mr. Roger LI and Director General, Ms. Jenny WANG. They had a meeting at the Melbourne Office. Prof. DU Jinzhu showed his appreciation to AEMG for our great efforts to their collaboration with oversea universities and hoped to continue working with us in more fields. Then, the delegation visited Chinese Traditional Culture Center. Prof DU Jinzhu gave a high degree of appreciation to AEMG and was full of confidence for future cooperation.
The mutual understanding and trust has been deepened between AEMG and the partner universities along with the visits, and the areas of cooperation have been broadened as well.
