With the invitations from AEMG and partner universities in Australia and New Zealand, from 1st May to 8th May, 2016, delegation of Central China Normal University (CCNU) led by Deputy Secretary of Party Committee Ms. HUANG Xiaomei visited Australia and New Zealand.
On 1st May, the delegation arrived in Melbourne and visited AEMG’s headquarter. AEMG CEO Mr. Roger Li and Director General Ms. Jenny Wang extended their warm welcome to the delegation. Deputy Secretary Ms. HUANG Xiaomei spoke highly of the contributions made by AMEG towards the collaborations between CCNU and its Australian partners. Both CCNU and AEMG exchanged their opinions and reached consensus on the development of future cooperation.
On 2nd, accompanied by AEMG Director General Ms. Jenny Wang and Executive Dean of Academy Faculty Prof. Paul Kidd, the delegation visited Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and attended a meeting. Both parties spoke highly of the achievements they had yielded together so far and they both highly cherish the established partnership. They also held an Annual Program Management Committee Conference, focusing on the topics of joint undergraduate programs of pre-school education. The delegation toured around the campus and inspected facilities after the conference.
On 3rd May, accompanied by AEMG CEO Mr. Roger Li and Director General Ms. Jenny Wang, the delegation visited Swinburne University of Technology, and received a warm welcome by Swinburne. The two universities held a joint management committee conference on the undergraduate program of biotechnology. The two parties had a detailed discussion and reached an extensive consensus on various topics, including promoting teaching standards as well as further collaborations between the two universities. The delegation also met the program students after the conference, updating their knowledge of students’ current studies and lives. The delegation encouraged the students and inspired them to keep in touch.
On 4th and 5th May, the delegation visited Griffith University Gold Coast Campus and Nathan Campus. The delegation met with their counterparts in Griffith and had a detailed discussion on the established undergraduate program of Social Working, as well as on the operation of the research centre, program development and PhD program.
On 6th and 7th May, accompanied by AEMG CEO Mr. Roger Li, the delegation visited Lincoln University, New Zealand College of Business and Auckland University. They had an extensive and detailed discussion and finalized their cooperation directions and modes.
CCNU’s high-density visit to its partner universities in Australia and New Zealand further strengthened the communication between AEMG and its partners, and has laid a solid foundation for Sino-Australia joint education programs and future collaborations.
