Delegation of Australian National University Visited Shandong University (Weihai)

From 31st May to 1st June, 2016, accompanied by AEMG CEO Mr. Roger Li, delegation of ANU led by Dean of ANU College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Prof. Andrew Roberts visited Shandong University (Weihai).

On 31st May, Vice President Prof. LIU Hai held a meeting with the delegation. During the meeting, the two parties had a discussion on the topic of collaborations. Andrew said the articulation program in the field of computer science has greatly boosted the exchange and communication of academicians and students between the two universities. He will play an active role in exploring the mode of research collaborations and will also be committed to supporting the integrated and further cooperation.

On 1st June, Vice President Prof. CHEN Guanjun held a meeting with the delegation, during which the two parties discussed the teaching schemes and courses mapping of the joint education program. They also reached consensus on the mode of joint education program.

During the visit, the delegation also met year 1 and year 2 students from relevant schools, and introduced the university and the joint PhD program to the students. The delegation had a very productive communication with the students, and answered all the questions concerning majors, subjects, accommodations and employment, etc.

The visit further broadened the collaborations between AEMG and partner universities and explored new modes and directions of research and cooperation.
