Delegation from Swinburne University of Technology visited Shandong University of Science and Technology

 

With an invitation of AEMG, a delegation from Swinburne University of Technology led by Ms. Dee-anne Richards, Director of International Business Development visited Shandong University of science and technology on the 6th of Dec, 2017.

In the afternoon of 6th, Prof. YAO Qingguo, Vice President of Shandong University of Science and Technology, Prof. Zhao Xiangdong, Director of International Office attended the meeting with leaders from Colleges of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Automation, Computer Science and Engineering, Art and Design. The two sides briefly introduced their universities, the specialties of the dominant disciplines and expressed a high expectation for the future cooperation. Elroy and the other AEMG staff attended the meeting. After meeting, Ms. Richards visited the labs of Colleges of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, and high level sample labs of Automation College.

During the meeting with students afterwards, Ms. Richards introduced the life of study at Swinburne, accommodation and the further opportunities in terms of employment and continuous study. There are some students showed their strong interests to study at Swinburne next year.

The visit further enhanced the communication and cooperation between AEMG and its partner universities, deepened mutual understanding and laid the good foundation for the smooth and efficient operation of joint education programs.
