AEMG held Joint Research Centre cooperation management and planning meeting with Swinburne University of Science and Technology

On the morning of May 15th, 2020, the Joint Research Centre cooperation management and planning meeting with Swinburne University of Science and Technology (SUT) was held successfully through an online meeting platform. Eight representatives from the two sides attended the meeting, including Vice-Chancellor (International Research Development) of SUT Professor Alan Lau,  Professor of Impact Engineering/ Director, Research Centre (China) Professor Lu Guoxing, and AEMG Group Director General Ms. Jenny Wang.

Both parties affirmed the work done in the field of joint cultivation of PhD students and scientific research, reported on the operation of the project and the current status of PhD students and put forward proposals for the preparation and operation of various stages in the context of COVID-19 pandemic. During the meeting, the two parties discussed the management of the current PhD students and recruitment plans for 2020 and reached a broad consensus on strict quality control for the program.

The meeting further clarified the work focus of the Joint Research Center in 2020 and strengthened the cooperation and communication with our partners during the pandemic. Against the backdrop of the public health emergency worldwide, it fully reflects the AEMG’s response capacity to such emergencies, demonstrates the AEMG’s determination to explore scientific research fields, and lays a solid foundation for AEMG’s further development in new fields and models.
