On the morning of June 4, the partnership seminar of AEMG Group and Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study, UCAS was successfully held in Melbourne, Beijing and Hangzhou through an online conference platform. Executive Vice-President of Hangzhou Institute for Advanced Study, UCAS Prof. Chonghui Zheng, Director of International Affair of UCAS Dr. Yong Xie, President Mr. Roger Li and Director General Ms. Jenny Wang of AEMG Group attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Ms. Jenny Wang firstly introduced Group’s brand positioning, development process, cooperation model with domestic and overseas higher education and scientific research institutions, smart Cloudcampus and student service system. Afterwards, the two parties exchange views on the potential cooperation opportunities such as joint research center, joint training of master and doctoral degree students and other aspects with a broad consensus reached. Prof. Chonghui Zheng said in his speech that as a joint venture of UCAS and the People’s Government of Hangzhou, the institute is defined as new type of teaching and research institution that integrates the development of science and education, and its positioning fits well with the strategic development direction of the Group in many fields. The establishment of the cooperative relationship between the two parties will certainly promote the work of many important sections of the institute, such as international exchange, talent cultivation and scientific research and innovation, and it is in hope to be a long-term and interoperable kind of development for both parties.
This meeting has laid a good foundation for both parties to further sort out the demands and scope of cooperation, and it is also one of the long-term practice of the Group to deepen and expand the partnership with Chinese universities, serving to build a good bridge for fostering international, innovative and interdisciplinary talents in response to the national strategy to realise science based education rejuvenation, talent empowerment, and innovation-driven development.
