AEMG Delegation was invited to visit James Cook University in Australia

At the invitation of James Cook University, an AEMG delegation under  leadership of Ms. Jenny WANG, Director General of AEMG, visited the university on the 8th of August, 2019.

The delegation were first welcomed by representatives from the international affairs office at JCU. AEMG team members then visited Townsville Campus, observing teaching and experimental equipment of each department which enable them to gain a direct and deeper understanding of the development of JCU. Following this, the international students service held a talk with them about the details of student service and support system.

In the afternoon, Pro Vice Chancellor Melissa Banks of James Cook University warmly welcomed the AEMG delegation led by Ms. Jenny WANG. Ms. Melissa Banks hosted a meeting with the faculties in relation to the current collaborative programs, which focused on an education project strategy with the tropical medicine and health department. In addition, a joint research seminar was held with the tropical environment and humanities and social sciences department.

Through this visit, cooperation with our partner has been consolidated. Practical cooperation in the areas of educational program and research cooperation were pushed to a new level.
