AEMG Delegation Visited University of South Australia

With the invitation from University of South Australia (UniSA), AEMG delegation of CEO Mr. Roger Li, Director General Ms. Jenny Wang, Director of Global Engagement and Partnership Development Mr. Elroy Duan, and Deputy Director of Global Engagement and Partnership Development Ms. Cecile Liu visited the university on 3rd August, 2016.

On the morning of 3rd August, Director of UniSA Internation Ms. Gabrielle Rollan and Deputy Directors of Global Affairs Development Department Mr. Rishen Shekhar and Ms. Sally Kok welcomed the delegation and exchanged opinions upon issues concerned. Ms. Rollan was respectful to AEMG team for their contributions towards the promotion of Sino-Australian education and culture in China, and thanked AEMG for the work they had done towards UniSA’s education strategy in China.

In the afternoon, the delegation had a heated discussion with Pro Vice-Chancellor (Information Engineering, Environment Engineering and Engineering Faculty) Prof. Simon Beecham, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education, Humanity, Sociology and Psychology Faculty) Prof. Dennis Meredyth and other senior directors. Afterwards, the delegation met with the Provost of UniSA Prof. Allan Evans. Prof. Evans understood the processes of cooperative programs and spoke highly of them. He also shared his opinions on the work to be done in the next stage.

The visit further strengthened the partnership between AEMG and its oversea partner universities, explored new collaborations and laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.
