Macquarie University’s Delegation Visits AEMG Cooperative Universities

At the invitation of the Australia Education Management Group, the delegation of Macquarie University visited China from 14th to 17th, May, under the leadership of Prof. Kevin Jameson, DVC (Academic) of the University, Prof. Nicole Brigg, PVC (International) and Prof. Darren Bagnall, Dean of School of Engineering. The delegation was accompanied by AEMG to visit cooperative universities in China.

On the 15th of May, Mr. Roger LI, President of AEMG, accompanied the delegation to visit Yunnan University. They were warmly welcomed by the President, Prof. ZHANG Li, vice-president of University, Prof. ZHAO Qihua, Dean of Graduate School, Prof. LI Wei, International College and Directors of relevant departments. During the following meeting, the three parties had a discussion in details on the potential collaborative research opportunities and reached a broad consensus. After meeting, the delegation visited Donglu and Chenggong campuses.

From 16th to 17th of May, Roger accompanied the delegation to visit Xi’an University of Science and Technology. They were warmly welcomed and met by the President of the university, Prof. JIANG Lin, the Vice President, Deans of three colleges and Directors of relevant department. In the morning of 17th, the JMC meeting about the joint program was held at the Yanta campus of XUST, and three parties had a detailed consultation on the exiting program.

The visit further enhanced the communication between AEMG and its partner universities, and ensured a smooth and efficient operation of joint education programs.
