At the invitation of the Australian Education Management Group, the delegation of University of Bristol led by Prof. Tim Gallagher, Dean of Faculty of Science, and Prof. Andy Nix, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, visited China from 10th to 12th April.
On 10th April, accompanied by General Director of AEMG, Ms. Jenny WANG, the delegation visited University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Prof. YANG Guoqiang, President of UCAS, and the head of the relevant college departments warmly welcomed the delegation. During the meeting, the two parties had a detailed consultation on the cooperation and set a solid foundation of the further research collaboration.
On 12th April morning, accompanied by Ms. Jenny WANG, the delegation visited Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA). The delegation was warmly welcomed by Assistant Dean of Automation Engineering College Prof. RUAN Xinbo and held the meeting. During the meeting, the two parties had a detailed discussion on the cooperation. Prof. Tim Gallagher gave a high appreciation to the efforts AEMG had made for University of Bristol and was full of confidence for future cooperation.
On 12th April afternoon, Ms. Jenny WANG accompanied the delegation to visit China University of Mining and Technology. Under the leadership Prof. ZHOU Guoqing, Vice President of CUMT, warmly welcomed the delegation. During the meeting, the two parties had a detailed consultation on the cooperation and reached a broad consensus.
The mutual understanding and trust has been deepened between AEMG and the partner universities along with the visits, and the areas of cooperation have been broadened as well.
